The sharp points and edges of their teeth are filed down so they don't injure the inside of the horse's mouth.
When horses roam free and graze, they take in enough sand and gritty plants to keep the points worn down, but on softer food they do not.
What do they mean when you float a horse's teeth?
I think it means they have to pee really really bad !!!
I have to pee Like a Horse my teeth are floating!!!lol
Reply:Horses that wear dentures. The dentures are cleaned by floating them in a cleaning solution. lol
Reply:It is when you file down their teeth so they don't get too overgrown to the point of hurting when the horses eat.
I usually gets done when you get the hooves done.
