Wolf teeth removal?

My horse has wolf teeth. How much does it usually cost to get these removed. I know it depends on a lot of factors, but approximately? I am in california and it would be at my barn.

Wolf teeth removal?
I'm in Pa and I pay $80 for a float, that includes a tranquilzer, and I have a vet that does it. I would expect pulling to be a bit more expensive that than. I'd plan $300 for both teethe to be done and be happy if it's cheaper. It is a minor surgical procedure. But I have to ask, are the teeth bothering your horse or interfering with the bit? If not, there's no good reason to pull the teeth.
Reply:My equine vet charged me a total of $80.00. This included floating the teeth and removal of wolf teeth. Incidentally, after the wolf teeth were removed, it was like having a different horse. It eliminated head tossing and pulling at the bit completely. I guess the poor thing was miserable and so relieved to have the teeth removed that she felt like a different horse.
Reply:I paid 65.00$ the last time. In Norco Ca.
Reply:My bf is an equine vet in So Cal. He charges $135...that includes farm call, sedation, and removal of the two teeth. Hope that helps!
Reply:For a professional horse dentist to do it in the UK it costs about £30 to have wolf teeth pulled and rest of teeth rasped. So probably about $60
Reply:$500 would be my best guess...
Reply:Depends on your region. I'm in southern IN....and at the office I work at, it costs $130 for an office visit, sedation, dental floating, and wolf teeth removal. If they don't do the floating, you can take off $55...but that's in my area.
Reply:I had to pay $90. It was worth it. Any horse that wears a bit should have it's wolf teeth removed.
Reply:In B.C., $185.00 for a farm visit, floating., sedation and removal of 2 wolf teeth and a baby tooth. She quit mouthing and chewing as soon as it was done.
Reply:my trainer did it for free
