Reply:OK - kind of hard to understand what you are asking, but I'll do my best:

1. Horses fed only once per day - false. Horses are grazing animals and need to have a steady access to food to help with their digestion. If not allowed in a pasture to graze, the second best option is free choice (as much as they want, when they want it) hay, and if that's not possible at LEAST twice a day feedings. Grain should be split up so they receive no more than 5-6 pounds per feeding.

2. Horses have legs.

3. A filly is a young mare (under 4).

4. A horses food ration is determined by its weight and the work it does - true. A horse should have approximately 2.5% of its body weight in food every day (ie a 1000 pound horse needs 25 pounds of food per day, in the form of hay, grass, and grain combined, though the grain should only be about .5% of its weight). A working horse needs more food than a pleasure horse.

5. Last checks before mounting - girth and stirrup length.

6. Two horses nibbling each other get on well - depends on the nibbling. Light grooming nibbles means they are friends, fighting bites mean they aren't.

7. Yes, there are equine dentists. And any good horse vet should know how to float their teeth.

8. Horses are mainly "fearful" by nature, in that they are prey animals and prefer flight over fight. They can be very aggressive, however, especially if they feel trapped.
