how old is this horse?

cavities are HIGHLY unlikely, escpecially on the front teeth. Naturally horses' teeth are much darker than humans.

when did you notice this? how long have you had this horse? i will check back and see what details you added and give you my advice from my knowledge.
Reply:can horses get cavities??? o_O
Reply:Call your vet .
Reply:Horses have various rings in their teeth at different times. they lose and regrow teeth frequently, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Reply:Your horses teeth are normal. A horses teeth can show a lot about them, age, condition things like that. Horses have wear on their teeth and the older they get the more they will have. It is very unusual for a horse to have tooth problems that are serious.
Reply:It is a build up of tater and plaque. It is normal for horses to have ulgy dirty teeth.

Have your vet float his teeth one per year and they should be fine.
Reply:Horses normally have dark, discolored teeth. They're not pretty at all. I have never heard of a horse having a cavity. Your horse's teeth are probably quite normal. You can actually tell the age of a horse by looking at the pits and grooves in the teeth.
